Landscapes, Vistas & Other Beautiful Scenes

Much of my time spent Up North was as a vehicular passenger.  Much of my photography, therefore, was filtered through tinted windows, done as 'drive-bys' (although a few "pull over!!"s were demanded--requests which were more than happily filled!)  The sky was constantly changing with the winds, and we watched everything from the sun bursting through clouds to rain storms approaching then letting go of their weight in water.  We saw rainbows and dramatic cloud formations and a morning sun, quite star-like, as it burned away the mountain mist.  We also came upon quaint, charming scenes while driving through towns.

Come do a 'drive-by' with me.  Join me on a getaway to the mountains.

While driving, we saw a deluge up ahead which became unavoidable.

We explored flat-rock waterfalls.

Driving passed a beach, I noticed the swimmers were afforded with a spectacular view.

Pastoral scenes were found between mountains.

And rainbows followed rainstorms.

Pristine.

One morning, just after the sun rose, I walked along the ridge of a mountain and saw.....

This is the same scene after the cloud burned away.

A magenta barn.

We spent much of our time in Vermont with many good friends.
Each of them, individually, are a very important, special part of our lives.
