Early Signs of Fall

Taking a break from the shorelife (vicariously) and heading back to the mountains momentarily, I'd like to share these photos  that I took a couple weeks ago of the first signs of fall right in our own backyard.  Sitting 'up top' (a place Marci  knows well!) I snapped from where I sat.  Still summertime, these subtle little hints were a prelude for me--the excitement of what's to come as the cooler weather and change in season sets in.  Which reminds me.....  we have a bash to plan!!    Enjoy.
